The project is supported and funded by the Egyptian state, to be a pioneering branch in Chad and the Central and West African region.
The project includes the construction of the faculties of veterinary medicine and agriculture on an area of 4000m2.
Each faculty consists of a ground floor and 3 floors. Besides, each faculty has 10 laboratories and halls for studying the behavior and nature of animals and plants, a library, computer halls, 2 auditoriums with a capacity of 150 people, and 4 lecture halls with a capacity of 60 people, in addition to offices, restrooms, waiting rooms, and lounges for teaching staff.
It was agreed to allocate part of the university’s land to establish an agricultural and animal research farm that would have an agricultural and animal production and manufacturing role to contribute to the development of livestock and related activities.
A specialized medical center will also be established in the specialties of ophthalmology, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, orthopedics, and dentistry as a step towards launching medical program services within the university.
