Project Objectives:
Implementation of the intersection between the Third Ring Road and Al Masjid Al Haram Road in Makkah, including works within the project area extending from the end of Prince Sultan Road, passing through Al Masjid Al Haram Road intersection, up to the entrance of the second level of Al Jamarat Station. The project aims to complete the existing Third Ring Road and facilitate traffic flow to serve pilgrims, residents, and visitors.
Project Description:
Construction of a bridge along the Third Ring Road including 3 traffic lanes in each direction, with a total width of 31 m, 12 axes, and a total length of 400 m. The superstructure is designed using precast, prestressed girders, while the bridge ramps are constructed using a reinforced earth system (panels).
The project includes the construction of a right service road bridge and a left service road bridge.
Roadworks connecting to the Third Ring Road, in addition to rehabilitation works of roads leading to Al Masjid Al Haram Road.
Construction of a box culvert for stormwater drainage.
