Project objectives:
The project includes constructing the intersection of the Third Ring Road with Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Road in Makkah, along with related works from Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Road to Al Masjid Al Haram (the Grand Mosque) Road. This aims to complete the existing Third Ring Road and facilitate traffic flow for pilgrims, residents, and visitors.
Project Description:
Construction of a concrete bridge along the Third Ring Road, with 3 traffic lanes in each direction, a width of 31 meters, and 6 axes with a total length 125 meters.
Rock cutting works totaling 1,025,000 m³, along with associated works at Al Maskhouta Mountain, including rock anchoring bolts, shotcrete, stormwater drainage, and roadworks.
Roadworks connecting to the Third Ring Road (main roadworks, 875 meters long and 31.3 meters wide, 3 traffic lanes in each direction, service roads 1 and 2, 2107 meters long and 9.9 meters wide with 3 traffic lanes).
