The project represents one of the primary strategic corridors supporting economic and social development. It enhances connectivity between the capital, Abuja, and the surrounding areas and communities, while also improving access to Nasarawa State. This will facilitate trade and investment, improve mobility for citizens, and establish a direct link between the Airport Expressway and the Kuje Town Interchange, thereby enhancing the efficiency of the region's road and transportation network.
The project extends approximately 11 kilometers with an average width of 48 meters. It includes the construction of a dual-carriageway asphalt road, two river bridges, each measuring 60 meters in length, and two overpass bridges, each measuring 90 meters in length. The scope also includes the implementation of a comprehensive stormwater drainage system and the installation of street lighting along the entire length of the road.
