Project Name : Projet de Relèvement Post-Kenneth et de Résilience (PRPKR)
The project is divided into three sites on three Comorian islands: one on Grande Comore, one on Mohéli, and one on Anjouan.
1 - Foumbouni (Grande Comores) (3,339,505.61)
• Total length approximately 500 meters, with a work duration of 16 months.
• Construction of a 392-meter-long Galveston concrete wall.
• Construction of an 84-meter-long vertical sea wall adjacent to the road.
• Construction of six culverts, 1000 mm in diameter, equipped with a sloping valve to prevent backflow of water from the sea.
• Construction of five 1.5-meter-wide entrances to the sea, including reinforced concrete stairs.
2 - Djoiezi (Mohéli Island) (1,548,143.43)
• Demolition and removal of the existing barrier: 260 meters long.
• Construction of a permanent rock barrier: 330 meters long, intermittent rock barrier.
• A rock barrier parallel to the shore to protect the existing road. Total length of the barrier: 310 meters.
3 - Ouani (Anjouan) Airport Zone (1,600,354.99)
• Total length approximately 300 meters
• At the end of the airport runway:
• Installation of wooden posts 30 to 50 meters long and 70 meters apart
• Resurfacing beach surface with gravel ( Galets )
• Planting works with an area of 4,700 m2
