The wastewater project for villages and the expansion of the treatment plant of Abu Teeg – Assiut - Egypt

The wastewater project for villages and the expansion of the treatment plant of Abu Teeg – Assiut The Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion Project, with a capacity of 45/30 thousand m³/day, as well as the wastewater for the villages for Abu Teeg, as part of the presidential initiative "Decent Life" to develop the villages of the Egyptian countryside.

The project aims to extend the wastewater connection service to the villages of (Al Nakhila - Baqour - Nazlet Baqour – Al Dowina), with a total sewage network length of 81,891 km, and 39,420 km of force mains.

The project includes the water line (inlet and screens - sand retention basins - 2 primary sedimentation basins - 4 aeration basins - 2 final sedimentation basins - air blowers - chlorine mixing basins), in addition to the sludge path (primary sludge lifting station - recycled sludge lifting station - sludge digestion basin - sludge concentration basins - 49 drying basins). The project includes the service buildings (administrative building - main distributor building - warehouse and workshop - transformers – power generation building - fuel tank - chlorine cylinder storage building).
