The project aims to increase the storage capacity of the Tahta Grain Silo by adding six (6) storage cells, each with a capacity of 5,000 tons, providing an additional total capacity of 30,000 tons and increasing the silo’s overall capacity from 60,000 tons to 90,000 tons.
The project is part of the Emergency Feed Security & Resilience Support Project, funded by the World Bank. The company is undertaking the project as the main contractor on a turnkey basis, covering civil and concrete works, overseas procurement, local manufacturing of selected components, installation of the silo structures, upper and lower conveyor systems and equipment, integration of the expansion with the existing silos, operational testing, and final handover.
