The project includes 4 phases with a total capacity of 600 liters per second (52 thousand m3/day) and a capacity of 150 liters per second for each phase. The first and second phases of the plant were using the conventional treatment system. As for the third and fourth phases of the plant, the oxidation ditch treatment method was used. Each of the four phases consists of a primary sedimentation basin, anaeration basin, a final sedimentation basin that serves the two phases, acontact tank, in addition to a sludge condensation basin for the two phases,and 128 drying basins.
