Eng. Sayed Farouk – CEO & Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, announced that the company has obtained a Dual Road Rehabilitation Project in the Nigerian capital, Abuja, and pointed out that the new project in Oyo Ibadan, with a length of 43 km, is an asphalt road with a width of 12.45 m in each direction. The project also includes rainwater drainage works, and industrial works along the road. The project is funded by the Nigerian Federal Ministry of Works.
This was during the visit of the Chairman to the Nigerian capital, Abuja, as well as a visit to the city of Lagos, the economic capital of Nigeria. He was accompanied by Dr. Onsi El Beshouty –AC Board Member, and Mr. Emad Ebeid – Financial Supervisor for Africa Sector, and they were received by Eng. Mohammed Al Aidarous – Managing Director of the Nigerian Company, and Eng. Wael Farouk - the General Manager.
During the inspection tour to follow up on some of the ongoing projects, the Chairman met with the employees and thanked them, praising their efforts and the quality of the projects; and asking them to exert more efforts to increase the work volume.
Eng. Sayed Farouk explained that the Nigerian Arab Contractors Company was one of the first companies to be established on the African continent in 1991, and during those years it was able to become one of the largest companies in the Nigerian market, and gain the trust of customers as well as citizens due to the great quality that distinguishes its projects in addition to its commitment with customers. He added that the company is really welcomed in the Nigerian market.
Eng. Mohammed Al Aidarous – Managing Director of the Nigerian Company, added that the company, since its establishment, has implemented many projects in the field of construction, various buildings, infrastructure and utilities, including roads, bridges, sewage networks, rain drainage, drinking water, and electricity networks. The company's human resources depend on the Nigerian workers and engineers working side by side with their Egyptian brothers.
