The project consists of two main tunnels connecting Al-Tayaran and Youssef Abbas Streets with Al-Orouba Axis, with a total length of 1750 meters, approximately 780 meters of which are covered. The tunnels are 4.8 meters high and 13 meters wide, with entrances and exits 8 meters wide. The project also includes two pedestrian tunnels, one 70 meters long and 4 meters wide, and the other 50 meters long and 4 meters wide. In addition, the project incorporates all necessary fire protection, security, surveillance, and stormwater drainage systems. The project also includes utility relocation works, encompassing 105 kilometers of telecommunications cables, 900 meters of natural gas lines, and 3.7 kilometers of water and sewage lines. 
It provides free connection between Nasr City & Heliopolis passing under Al Orouba road to improve the traffic flow from & to Cairo international airport.
