The Arab Contractors Company, through the Marine Shipyard Department of the Manufacturing Sector of the company, has completed the construction and launch of the first floating bridge pontoons in Ismailia, which is pontoon No. (2) Bridge 279 with a length of 85 meters, a width of 15 meters, and a height of 2.25 meters, as well as the construction and launch of the second floating bridge pontoons in Ismailia, which is pontoon No. (2) Bridge 284 with a length of 85 meters, a width of 15 meters, and a height of 2.25 meters, as part of a contract to construct 4 pontoons in the floating bridges project with an average weight of approximately 470 tons per pontoon for the benefit and under the supervision of Timsah Shipbuilding Company, one of the companies of the Suez Canal Authority, and the French supervision authority BV.
