The Project objective is to rehabilitate Mahalapye to Palapye road, consisting of widening the existing road to 11.70m, total length involved is 70 km. Construction of an 8m wide diversion road to accommodate during the rehabilitation of the existing main road, total length involved is 70 km.
The major works comprises of: earthworks pavement layer, two layers of crushed stone base and pre-coated chips seal surfacing. Construction of new culvert, drains, kerbs, fencing, gabions, cattle grids, installation of road signs, road markings. Project Value: US$ 19.8 M (Pula 92.254M)
