Honoring Arab Contractors for Its Role in the Construction of Al Badri Mosque in Benghazi

Eng. Belqasim Khalifa Haftar - Director General of the Libyan Development and Reconstruction Fund, presented a certificate of appreciation to the Arab Contractors Company in recognition of its outstanding efforts in the construction of Al Badri Mosque in Benghazi, which was founded in 1969 and was one of the first projects completed by the company in Libya. The honor was received by Eng. Hassan Mustafa – Senior Vice Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, during his visit to follow up on the company’s current work. This was in the presence of Eng. Mubarak Mansour Mubarak - Supervisor of Libya branch – Benghazi, and Eng. Sayed Al Shahat – Manager of Libya Branch. During the meeting, the Director General of the Libyan Development and Reconstruction Fund praised the company’s sincere efforts and continuous work since its inception in 1966 until now, appreciating its role in reconstruction projects, which reflects the high level of professionalism and technical expertise, and the commitment to carrying out all work according to the highest standards. It is worth mentioning that the mosque is one of the most prominent religious and historical monuments in the city of Benghazi. The Libyan Development and Reconstruction Fund recently inaugurated development and efficiency improvement works for its internal and external facilities, and improved the structural and service aspects, in order to ensure the comfort of worshippers and visitors, while preserving the architectural and historical character of the mosque.
