Mr. Alaa Farouk - Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, and Eng. Sherif El Sherbiny -Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities witnessed the signing of an agreement between the Desert Research Center and the Arab Contractors Company to rehabilitate North Sinai Research Station in Sheikh Zuweid. This initiative is part of the state's efforts to support sustainable agricultural development in Sinai Peninsula. The agreement was signed by Dr. Hossam Shawky - Head of the Desert Research Center, and Mr. Ahmed Mostafa El Assar - Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, reflecting the importance of the partnership between the 2 sides to implement the project according to the highest technical and engineering standards. The agreement aims to restore the station and enhance its research and service efficiency, thereby supporting applied scientific research, serving farmers and residents of the area, and strengthening the role of the Desert Research Center in developing desert communities. This represents a significant step in supporting the state's plans for the development of North Sinai, as the project reflects the integration of efforts between state institutions and the national sector to implement national projects efficiently and rapidly.
