Arab Contractors participates in the preparatory workshop for the Egyptian-Sudanese Forum

The Arab Contractors Company participated in the preparatory workshop for the Egyptian-Sudanese Forum, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Sudan in Cairo, in cooperation with the Egyptian-Sudanese Company for Development and Multi-Investments. The workshop was held at the Al Manara International Conference Center in Cairo, in the presence of Lieutenant General Emad Adawy - the Sudanese Ambassador, and the Governor of the Northern State, Lieutenant General Abdel Rahman Abdel Hamid. The workshop was attended by Eng. Sayed Al Wazir - Vice Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, Eng. Amani Khodeir - Head of the African Projects Follow-up Sector, and a number of Egyptian and Sudanese officials and representatives of national companies. In his speech, Eng. Sayed Al Wazir emphasized the depth of historical relations between Egypt and Sudan, and the company’s full readiness to contribute to Sudan’s reconstruction efforts and implement development projects in the areas of infrastructure, transportation, and housing, thus enhancing economic integration between the two countries. It is worth noting that the Arab Contractors Company has implemented a number of prominent projects in Sudan, including Shendi-El Matama Bridge, which is 660 meters long and spans the Nile River. It connects the city of Shendi to the east with the city of El Matama to the west, with a width of 20.50m, and is approximately 170 km from Khartoum. It also carried out civil works for the Atbarah Cement Factory, which has a production capacity of 4,500 tons/day.
