"El Sherbiny" visits Equatorial Guinea and Tanzania to increase joint cooperation and inspects "Julius Nyerere" Dam implemented by the Egyptian JV. Eng. Sherif El Sherbiny - Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, arrived in Malabo, the capital of Equatorial Guinea, to discuss areas of joint cooperation between the two countries in the sectors of housing, utilities, and urban development. The Minister was welcomed upon his arrival at the airport by Mr. Clemente Ferreiro Villarino - Minister of State for Public Works and Urban Planning of Equatorial Guinea, and the Egyptian Ambassador to Equatorial Guinea Haddad Abdel Tawab El Gohary. Eng. Sherif El Sherbiny stated that there are directives from His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El Sisi - President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, to enhance cooperation with African countries in various fields and exchange expertise in development projects, and therefore this visit comes to increase cooperation between the two countries. During the meeting at the airport, the Minister of Housing confirmed that the demands of the brothers regarding the various sectors of the ministry will be discussed, and we will work to meet them in a way that contributes to transferring the expertise acquired by the Egyptian state, especially in the past 10 years, to accelerate development projects for the brothers in Equatorial Guinea. Mr. Clemente Ferreiro Villarino - Minister of State for Public Works and Urban Planning of Equatorial Guinea, welcomed the Egyptian Minister of Housing, stressing that the Arab Contractors Company has many successful projects in his country, and that Egypt has achieved tangible progress in this sector in recent years, and that work will be done to exchange these experiences in several sectors. It is worth noting that there is great interest in the visit of the Minister of Housing, and a number of television channels were keen to obtain statements from him regarding areas of joint cooperation between the two countries. Sherif El Sherbiny - Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, pointed out that there is a scheduled visit to Equatorial Guinea to inspect Julius Nyerere Hydropower Plant and Dam Project in Tanzania, which is being implemented by the Egyptian JV (The Arab Contractors and Elsewedy Electric), which has become a prominent sign of cooperation between Egypt and Tanzania. The Minister is accompanied on the visit by Major General Mahmoud Nassar - Head of the Central Agency for Reconstruction, Dr. Abdel Khalek Ibrahim, Assistant Minister of Housing for Technical Affairs, Eng. Elham El Sergany - Assistant Supervisor of the Minister’s office; and Eng. Ahmed El Assar - Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company.
