Dr. Badr Abdel Aaty - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, held talks with Mr. Abdelrahman Ghulamallah - Chad's Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration, Chadians Abroad, and International Cooperation during his visit to Chad, accompanied by an Egyptian delegation with Egyptian companies, including the Arab Contractors Company, where the company was represented by Eng. Hassan Mustafa - Vice Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, and Eng. Heba Abou Al Ella – Board Member. The discussions between the two delegations included the ways to enhance and strengthen Egyptian-Chadian cooperation. On the other hand, Dr. Badr Abdel Aaty - Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Mr. Aziz Saleh – Chad’s Minister of Infrastructure, in the presence of the Egyptian delegation. Minister Abdel Aaty stressed the priority Egypt gives to completing the land road between Egypt and Chad, which is expected to bring about a qualitative shift in trade exchange between the two countries, welcoming the signing of the protocol concerned with studying and implementing the road between the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Arab Contractors Company during this month. He added that many Egyptian contracting companies are looking forward to increasing their work in implementing development projects in Chad, appreciating the projects implemented by the Arab Contractors Company, including the new building of the Chadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Headquarters of Alexandria University Branch in Chad, in addition to implementing many road and bridge projects. The meeting was attended by Eng. Mohammed El Qiaay – Head of the sector supervising Chad Branch, and Eng. Mohamed El Mashad - Branch Manager. Dr. Badr Abdel Aaty began his visit to the Chadian capital, N’Djamena, on Thursday, December 26, with a visit to the Egyptian Embassy in Chad, where he met with a number of members of the Egyptian community. Minister Abdel Aaty welcomed the members of the Egyptian community, expressing his appreciation for the vital role played by the community in Chad through contributing to development in various sectors, noting that the community constitutes a bridge for cooperation and development between the two countries. The Minister also reviewed the efforts to develop consular services provided to Egyptians abroad and the steps being taken to implement the plan for the digital transformation of consular services and the development of the digital infrastructure, which aims to facilitate transactions and save time and effort for Egyptian citizens abroad, as part of a broader strategy aiming at benefiting from modern technology in serving citizens and providing them with full support. The meeting included an open discussion with members of the community to raise their inquiries and suggestions regarding issues that represent a priority for the community in Chad. Minister Abdel Aaty stressed the interest that the Egyptian state, with all its authorities, has in providing full support for Egyptians abroad. He also referred to the investment opportunities and various advantages that the state provides to Egyptian citizens abroad to meet their demands and strengthen their ties to the homeland.
