Qalyubia Governor inspects Al Manshaa Al Koubra Water Station in Kafr Shokr

Eng. Ayman Attia - Governor of Qalyubia, inspected Al Manshaa Al Koubra Water Station in Kafr Shokr, accompanied by Eng. Ahmed Abdel Qader - Head of the Construction Authority of Potable Water and Wastewater (CAPW), Eng. Hassan Mustafa- Vice Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, Eng. Hani Hashem -Vice Chairman of the Construction Authority of Potable Water and Wastewater, and Eng. Khaled Abdel Aziz - Head of the Construction Authority of Potable Water and Wastewater in Qalyubia, to check on the latest developments and accelerate the pace of work to complete the project according to its time schedule. The governor and his companions listened to a detailed explanation from Eng. Osama Nawar – AC Executive Board Member, and Eng. Sayed El Shahat - Manager of East and Central Delta Branch, about the station’s works, which has a capacity of 45,000 m3/day and serves about 225,000 people from Kafr Shokr. This station is considered one of the largest water stations in Qalyubia and operates with a modern system characterized by high efficiency in water quality according to the latest international standards. The total value of the station is LE 650 million, as the water network extension works are underway, and the civil works of the station have been completed by 90%, and the remaining work is the final finishes. The implementation rate of the electromechanical work reached 65% and the remaining work includes supplying valves, cables and filtration tiles. The finishing of the station’s fence is being completed in full, and the landscape has begun. During the tour, the Governor of Qalyubia stressed the importance of adhering to the time schedule for completing various works at the station and putting it into service to benefit from the station to serve the people of Kafr Shokr, appreciating the efforts made to accelerate the work and complete the project to serve the citizens.
