President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema - President of Gabon received a delegation from the Arab Contractors Company. This was in the presence of the Minister of Public Works, the Minister of Economy, and the Gabonese Ambassador to Cairo. The delegation of the Arab Contractors Company was headed by Eng. Heba Abu Al Ela – Board Member the Arab Contractors Company, a member of the Board of Directors, and in the presence of Eng. Amani Khodeir – Head of Africa Projects Follow-up Sector, Eng. Alaa Amer – Managing Director of the Guinean Arab Contractors Company, and Eng. Lubna Shatla – Manager of Business Development and Strategic Studies. During the meeting, the Gabonese President expressed his great confidence in the Arab Contractors Company and its good reputation in the African countries due to its wide dispensing and the diversity of its projects, especially in the field of infrastructure projects. The Gabonese President called for the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Gabonese Ministry of Public Works and the Arab Contractors Company, whereby the company will study the implementation of road and infrastructure projects. The Gabonese President also emphasized on the necessity of transferring the Arab Contractors expertise to the Gabonese side, especially in light of the comprehensive urban development in Egypt recently, including the large and diverse projects in the New Administrative Capital. He pointed out the necessity of having a branch of the company in his country to begin implementing the projects. The company delegation welcomed the invitation of the Gabonese President. Eng. Heba Abu Al Ela pointed out that Eng. Ahmed El Assar – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company confirmed the company’s readiness to exist in Gabon, which represents one of the important markets, and the company always seeks to transfer expertise to its brothers in the African countries.
