Eng. Ahmed El Assar – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company announced that the company has signed a contract for the construction, completion and maintenance of 1,777 houses and public buildings for the Public Authority for Housing Welfare in Kuwait. The contract signing was witnessed by His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif Al Mishari - the Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs. The contract was signed by Eng. Rashid Al Anzi - Director General of the Public Authority for Housing Welfare, and Eng. Ahmed El Assar, who explained that the project is one of the low-cost housing projects. He declared that the contract won by the company also includes the construction of primary, intermediate and secondary schools, main mosques, housing for the imam and muezzin, fire and ambulance centers, surface layer of asphalt works, the supply and installation of low and medium voltage cables, and road lighting works in the sector B-3 The works. The completion of work is expected to be within 3 years. During the signing ceremony, Dr. Abdullatif Al Mishari expressed his appreciation for the Arab Contractors Company and its dispensing and good reputation in Kuwait. He stated the extensive experience the company has in building and construction, adding that the project comes within the framework of the PAHW commitment to achieving its strategic objectives in providing integrated housing projects that contribute to improving the standard of living and supporting social development in the country and achieving the development pillars included in the New Kuwait Plan 2035. For his part, Eng. Ahmed El Assar expressed his happiness at signing the project contract, praising the continued cooperation with the Kuwaiti government which representing the strong ties between Egypt and Kuwait, and welcoming the renewed cooperation with the Public Authority for Housing Welfare in Kuwait, as it represents the strong arm of the sisterly State of Kuwait in the field of social housing. He stressing that the company will exert its best effort to completing the project on time and according to the required specifications, and the company will put all its expertise to accomplish it based on the Kuwaiti vision to benefit from it. He stressing on the great hospitality that the company has enjoyed in Kuwait for years and its implementation of many huge development projects. The signing ceremony was attended on behalf of the Arab Contractors Company by Eng. Hossam Fayed - the Company’s Regional Manager in the Gulf and supervisor of Kuwait Branch Projects, Eng. Awni Tawfik - Kuwait Branch Manager, Eng. Hesham El Sonbati - Technical Affairs Manager of the Branch, Mr. Hesham Hegab - Financial and Logistics Affairs Manager of the Branch, and Mr. Ashraf Samir- Human Resources Manager. The signing ceremony was also attended by the leaders of the Public Authority for Housing Welfare, Eng. Amina Abdel Karim Al Awadi - Deputy Director General for Control and Information Systems Affairs, Eng. Reda Jassim Falahia – Manager of the Documents and Contracts Department, and Dr. Eng. Badr Malbas Al Zayedi - Head of Engineers, First Region Projects Department. It is worth noting that the Arab Contractors Company had previously implemented East Taimaa Project in Kuwait, where 509 modern-style houses were constructed, completed and maintained in “East Taimaa” area in Jahraa Governorate, serving approximately 4,500 people, and was built on an area of 373 thousand m2, as well as Jaber Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah Hospital, Nuwaiseeb and Jahraa roads.
