Eng. Ahmed El Assar – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, received Hon. Eng. Charles Milupi, - Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development. During the meeting, they discussed aspects of joint cooperation, and available opportunities for the company in the development projects in Zambia. This was on the sidelines of the 12th session of the World Urban Forum “WUF12” in Cairo from 4 to 8 November 2024. The meeting was attended by Mr. Topply Mulambo Lubaya - Ambassador of Zambia to the Arab Republic of Egypt and the accompanying delegation, Eng. Heba Abu Al Ela - Board Member of the Arab Contractors Company, and Eng. Mohamed Elwi – AC Executive Board Member. The Zambian Minister expressed his aspiration for the Arab Contractors Company to participate in various infrastructure projects, given its long history in Africa, especially that it has successful experiences in Zambia. For his part, Eng. Ahmed El Assar expressed the company's keenness to work on projects in African countries due to its experience and extensive work history, and stressed eagerness to work in the Zambian market, pointing out that the Egyptian state is working to spread development in sister African countries and enhance sustainable development, and transferring Egyptian expertise to our brothers in building and construction fields.
