Dr. Mostafa Madbouly - Prime Minister, inaugurated the urban expo on the sidelines of the 12th World Urban Forum “WUF12”, which is being held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in Cairo from the 4th to the 8th of November 2024.
This was attended by Eng. Sherif El Sherbiny - Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Dr. Manal Awad - Minister of Local Development, Dr. Ibrahim Saber – Cairo Governor, Anacl?udia Rossbach, Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), a number of Egyptian state officials, and participating Arab and foreign delegations.
It is noteworthy that the Arab Contractors Company is participating in the urban exhibition as a “silver sponsor” of the World Urban Forum “WUF12”, where the inauguration was attended by Eng. Hassan Mustafa - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Eng. Heba Abo Al Ela - AC Board Member, and Eng. Hassan Ibraheem – AC Executive Board Member.
The exhibition is covering an area of 20,000 sqm and featuring participation from 52 countries and 115 exhibitors from international and local organizations. The Egyptian pavilion covers an area of 1500 sqm, and includes Egyptian authorities and ministries, in addition to 11 real estate developers. A designated area for visitors from African countries has been set up within the Egyptian pavilion to showcase Egypt’s contributions to building the African continent.
