A delegation from the Arab Contractors Company, headed by Eng. Ahmed El Assar – CEO and Chairman of the AC, accompanied by Eng. Ahmed El Adalany, Eng. Heba Abu Al Ela – AC Board Members, and Mr. Emad Ebeid –Supervisor of the Financial Sector for Africa Sector, visited Zimbabwe to discuss and explore prospects for joint cooperation in construction, building, and development. During the visit, the company delegation held several meetings with ministers and senior officials under the patronage and attendance of Ambasdaor Salwa Mowafi – the Egyptian Ambassador to Zimbabwe. The company delegation met with the Zimbabwean Minister of Transport and Infrastructural Development, Mr. Felix Mhona who welcomed the company delegation’s visit, praised the Egyptian company for their first visit to Zimbabwe, hoping that the coming period would witness cooperation between the two sides, and praised the level of development that Egypt has witnessed recently, which represents a successful model that Zimbabwe can benefit from. The company delegation also held several meetings with senior officials of the Ministries of Housing and Infrastructure, amidst a great welcome to discuss frameworks for cooperation in the field of development projects The company’s delegation completed its African tour with a visit to Cameroon, where Eng. Ahmed El Assar and Ms. Celestine Ketcha Courtes – Minister of Housing and Urban Development, launched the works on the development project of the northern entrance ring road to the capital Yaounde (Nkozoa-Katanga) (Akak-Soa) in the presence of Eng. Heba Abu Al Ela – AC Board Member, and Eng. Ashraf Fahmy - Managing Director of Arab Contractors Cameroon Ltd. During the celebration, they signed the contract for the internal roads development project in the Mboman area of the capital Yaounde, and the Cameroonian Minister expressed her appreciation and admiration for the performance of the Arab Contractors Company in the projects that the company has completed in the past years. The Cameroonian Minister of Public Works, Emmanuel Nganou Djoumess, received the company’s delegation, where they discussed the implemented projects. During the meeting, the supplementary contracting procedures for the second phase of Mbalmayo-Sangmellima Road were completed. Besides, the Cameroonian Minister praised the strong presence of the Arab Contractors in Cameroon and its commitment to completing projects within the specified time schedule and according to the highest quality.
