The Ivorian Minister of Hydraulics, Sanitation, and Public Health, Monsieur Bouake Fofana, and Eng. Ahmed El Assar – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, signed a contract for the construction of 6 wastewater treatment plants in 6 cities in C?te d'Ivoire. The signing was attended by Eng. Ahmed El Adalany – Board Member of the Arab Contractors Company, Mr. Emad Ebeid –Supervisor of the Financial Sector for Africa Sector, and a number of the Ministry’s officials. During the signing ceremony, Mr. Bouake Fofana expressed his appreciation for the Arab Contractors Company and dispense throughout Africa, emphasizing the extensive experience the company has in the building and construction fields, including wastewater treatment projects. Eng. Ahmed El Assar expressed his happiness at signing the project contract and pointed out its importance in preserving the environment and citizens’ health, in addition to achieving sustainable development, praising the continued cooperation with the Ivorian government, which is a real example of the strong ties between Egypt and C?te d’Ivoire. It is noteworthy that the company will implement these stations in 6 cities: (Gagnoa - Daloa - Soubre - Seguela - Man – Odienne). The scope of work for each station includes solid waste loading areas, tanks, inlet basins, sand sedimentation basins, secondary treatment systems, inlet chambers, a treatment process pipe network, sludge drying basins, a dry sludge storage area, and a and a drainage network for the stations, in addition to administrative and service buildings. On the other hand, Mr. Kobenan Kouassi Adjoumani, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Ivory Coast , received the company delegation headed by Eng. Ahmed El Assar – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, in the presence of the Ministry’s officials, where they discussed the available opportunities and explored ways of cooperation between the company and the Ivorian Ministry of Agriculture in future projects. It is worth noting that the Arab Contractors Company implemented Jacqueville Bridge and gained C?te d'Ivoire National Medal for implementing this national project, which contributed to activating the trade movement and tourism development. The company also implemented the expansion project of the cargo village at Abidjan International Airport, which is considered the largest logistics project there.
