The Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport began his series of meetings with Iraqi ministers and officials during his visit to the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, by meeting with the Iraqi Minister of Transport, Mr. Razzaq Muhaibas Al-Saadawi, in the presence of Egyptian Ambassador to Baghdad Ahmed Samir, Major General Hossam El Din Moustafa - Head of the General Authority for Roads and Bridges, and Eng. Sayed Metwally - Head of the Egyptian Domestic and International Land Transport Regulatory Authority. Then, he met with Mr. Benkin Rekani - Iraqi Minister of Housing, Reconstruction, Municipalities, and Public Works, and the Ministry’s officials, boosting cooperation between the two countries, especially the participation of specialized national Egyptian companies in implementing various infrastructure and development projects for our brothers in Iraq. The Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport was accompanied by the chairmen and representatives of 13 major Egyptian companies specialized in implementing infrastructure, roads, bridges, and development projects, including the Arab Contractors Company, which was represented by Eng. Sayed Al Wazir - Vice Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company. This visit comes within the framework of cooperation between the Egyptian and Iraqi sides in transportation and industry and supporting the participation of Egyptian companies specialized in infrastructure, roads, bridges and development projects in various projects in Iraq.
