Eng. Ayman Attia - Governor of Qaliobia, inspected the development works of Al Amiriya Bridge in Mostorod, East Shoubra El Kheima District, which connects Cairo and Qaliobia from Al Sawah Square to Mostorod and the new street in East Shubra El Kheima District, where its efficiency is being raised and developed, and which is being implemented by the Arab Contractors Company, under the supervision of Roads Directorates in Cairo and Qaliobia. The Governor directed the rapid completion of the works during the coming weeks to facilitate traffic movement, emphasizing the governorate's commitment to implementing all projects as soon as possible, and stressed the necessity to adhere to the highest quality standards. Eng. Ehab Khafaga - Deputy Manager of Bridges Department and Manager of the Repair Unit at the Arab Contractors Company, explained that Al Amiriya Bridge is a concrete bridge with a length of 650m and a width of 36m, separating the governorates of Cairo and Qaliobia - over Ismailia Canal. The company is carrying out works to upgrade the old bridge, repair and rehabilitate the structural elements of the bridge (columns, beams and slabs), road and paving works, replacing bridge joints, and rehabilitating fences and sidewalks. The tour was attended by Dr. Eman Rayan-Deputy Governor, Major Gen. Ihab Serag El Din - Secretary General, and Major Gen. Abdullah Ashour – Assistant General Secretary.
