Eng. Ahmed El Assar - CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, and Eng. Hossam El Din El Rifi - Senior Vice Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, participated in the annual meeting of the Islamic Development Bank Group (ISDB). This year’s meeting witnessed the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the group. The annual conference was attended by a large number of representatives of development banks, financing institutions, investment bodies, government officials from member states, and company representatives, with a total of 52 participating countries; and from the Arab Contractors Company, Eng. Hossam Al Nozhi - Head of Sector and Manager of Marketing in Saudi Arabia, Eng. Essam Abdel Khaleq – Manager of the Arab Contractors’ branch in Saudi Arabia, and Eng. Lubna Shatla - Manager of the Business Development and Strategic Studies Department. On the sidelines of the conference, the AC Chairman and Senior Vice-Chairman met with Mr. Osama Abdel Rahman Al Qaisi - CEO of the Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit (ICIEC), where ways of cooperation between the Arab Contractors Company and the Islamic Corporation were discussed and how to benefit from its role in financing projects in Asia and Africa, especially within the framework of the active and vital role of the Arab Contractors Company in implementing mega projects on both continents. On the other hand, Mr. Alamine Ousmane - Minister of Economy Planning and Regional Development in Cameroon, received the company’s delegation, where opportunities for cooperation were reviewed to benefit from the company’s expertise to establish more development projects to contribute to improving the standard of living of citizens in Cameroon. The ongoing projects implemented by the company in Cameroon were also discussed. Mr. Mayank Choudhary - Director Infrastructure Finance for South , Central and West Asia in the Asian Development Bank, also received a delegation from the Arab Contractors to discuss ways of cooperation with the bank, especially in Asian countries. The company’s experiences in implementing various development projects were reviewed, as the bank director welcomed cooperation with the company in any projects with the bank’s member states.
