Dr. Assem El Gazzar - Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, visited the Comoros within the framework of the strong relations between the two sister countries. During the visit, the Minister of Housing witnessed the signing ceremony of the contract for the construction of Moheli Port in Comoros, worth 60 million euros. The contract was signed by the Comoros Minister of Infrastructure and Eng. Ahmed El Assar – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, in the presence of the Ministers of Finance, Defense, Economy, Transport, and Planning and the Secretary-General of the cabinet of Comoros.
After the signing ceremony, President Azali Assoumani - President of Comoros, received the Egyptian delegation. The meeting discussed the President’s invitation to the Egyptian state to participate in achieving the Comoros Vision 2030. The President expressed his happiness with the participation of Egyptian companies in development projects in the Comoros and expressed his admiration for the Egyptian experience in the field of construction and development.
During the meeting, Dr. Assem El Gazzar expressed his great happiness with this visit to one of the sister countries and stressed the Egyptian state’s readiness to participate in planning and implementing national projects in Comoros and to transfer expertise to the brothers.
The Arab Contractors Company delegation included Eng. Ayman Attia, Eng. Ahmed El Adalany and Eng. Heba Abu Al Ela – AC Board Members, and Eng. Alaa Shalaby - Head of the Sector.
