Eng. Ahmed El Assar – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, received Mr. Kasingo Musinga - Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of the Congo to Cairo. At the beginning of the meeting, the Ambassador was welcomed and praised for the relations between Egypt and Congo. A number of projects implemented by the company were also reviewed, and the increasing opportunities for cooperation between the company and Congo government were discussed.
The meeting was attended by Eng. Amani Khodeir - Head of Africa Projects Follow-up Sector.
It is worth noting that the company recently signed a memorandum of understanding with Congo Central region, to establish a number of infrastructure projects in the field of roads and bridges. These projects aim to contribute to the economic development of the region, facilitate transportation for individuals and transport agricultural products via the Luisi River, and also include the construction of a number of internal roads.
The company is also implementing the new headquarters project for the Congolese Ministry of Defence, and the project to construct and rehabilitate 5 internal roads in the capital, Kinshasa, with a total length of 13 km. Besides, the construction of projects, including Kamuesha – Kananga Road with a length of 150 km and the Cholera Prevention Project through the development of the network and water station in Uvira. The company implemented Batchamba-Lwangi Road, which is 114 km long and was praised as the best highway implemented in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
