On the sidelines of the 13th African Ministers' Council on Water, which was held in Cairo, the Arab Contractors Company, in cooperation with the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation, held several bilateral meetings with a number of African irrigation ministers. Meetings were held with the irrigation ministers of Kenya, Zambia, Chad, Central Africa, Uganda, Tunisia, South Sudan, Somalia, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Zimbabwe, and Estonia to discuss ways of joint cooperation with the company and open new markets in all fields that contribute to development plans in sister countries. This was in the presence of Eng. Heba Abu Al-Ela – Board Member of the Arab Contractors Company; Eng. Amani Khodeir - Head of Africa Projects Follow-Up Sector, Eng. Mohamed Abdel Nabi - Head of Business Development and Strategic Studies Sector, Eng. Moustafa Saad – Manager of Business Development Department; Eng. Dina Sheta – Manager of the Technical Support Department; and Eng. Abdel Rahman Ismail – Manager of the Technical Office at the Office of the Board Member.
On the other hand, during his inspection of the exhibition held on the sidelines of the 13th African Ministers' Council on Water (AMCOW) General Assembly, Dr. Hani Sewliam - Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, thanked the representatives of the companies participating in the exhibition, led by the Arab Contractors Company, pointing out the role of these companies in supporting development in African countries through the projects that they are implementing currently and stressing the importance of expanding the implementation of a larger number of projects in the future.
