Eng. Ahmed El Assar – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, received the delegation of the State of Cameroon, headed by H.E. Mrs. C?lestine Ketcha Court?s - Minister of Housing and Urban Development, in the presence of Dr. Mohamadou Labarang - Ambassador of Cameroon to the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Eng. Hossam El Din El Rifi - Senior Vice Chairman of the AC. They explored the opportunities for cooperation to benefit from the company's expertise to establish development projects that create a climate for investment and improve the livelihood of citizens in Cameroon through infrastructure projects.
The Cameroonian Minister of Housing and Urban Development expressed her great appreciation for what she saw of the major projects in Egypt during her stay, as she visited projects implemented by the Arab Contractors Company, including Tahya Misr Bridge, which is the world's widest cable-stayed bridge, and Taha Hussein Bridge, which connects El-Mokattam Hill with Autostrad Road and Al-Hadara Axis. Mrs. C?lestine Ketcha Court?s - Minister of Housing and Urban Development, inspected the buildings implemented by the company in Maspero Triangle Development Project and praised the company's great capabilities in various construction sectors, indicating her desire to cooperate with the company, especially since the company is present in the Cameroonian market and has achieved success through the implementation of a number of road projects.
The Cameroonian delegation was accompanied by Eng. Heba Abou El Ella, Eng. Tarek Khedr, and Eng. Ahmed Al Adalany – AC Board Members; Eng. Mohamed Elwi – Member of the Executive Board of the company, and Eng. Amani Khedir - Head Sector for Africa Projects.
It is noteworthy that the Cameroonian delegation is on a visit to Egypt, during which they met Dr. Assem El Gazzar - Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, and they discussed cooperation and the transfer of expertise in the field of urban development to the brothers in Cameroon.
