Within the framework of the strategy of the Arab Contractors Company’s Board of Directors to open new fields of work and expand the company's projects at the African level, Eng. Ahmed El Assar – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, Eng. Ahmed Al Adalany, and Eng. Heba Abul Ella – AC’s Board Members, and Eng. Hassan Hassoun – Managing Director of the Congolese Arab Contractors, visited Angola to meet senior officials and discuss areas of joint cooperation in light of the distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries.
During the visit, the company's delegation met with Carlos Alberto dos Santos - Minister of Public Works, Urban Planning, and Housing, and Manuel Molares D'Abril - Secretary of State for Public Works, in the presence of both Ambassadors of Angola to Egypt, Nelson Cosme and Ambassador of Egypt to Angola Mohamed Safwat Ramadan Atta. During the meeting, the Minister of State for Public Works praised the enormous capabilities of the Arab Contractors Company by reviewing the major projects implemented by the company in Egypt and abroad and its great experience in the African continent. He emphasized that the proposals submitted by the company are an opportunity for cooperation in the field of modernizing roads and infrastructure. The Egyptian and Angolan sides also affirmed their keenness to accelerate the pace of work and provide the necessary technical and financial studies and offers.
The delegation of Arab contractors also met with the Minister of Water and Energy and the Deputy Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of Angola to discuss business opportunities in various fields and the possibility of joint cooperation in the presence of the ambassadors of Egypt and Angola.
During the meeting, they also discussed holding training courses for Angolan engineers at the Arab Contractors Institute for Construction Engineering and Management Technologies (ICEMT) to transfer various experiences.?
