Dr. Assem El-Gazzar - Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, started his tour in New El Alamein City by inspecting the coastal towers area, which includes 15 towers where facade finishing works are being completed and 8 other towers being implemented, one of which has reached the 42nd floor out of a total of 44 floors, accompanied by officials of the Ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority, the Head of New El Alamein City Authority, officials of the contracting companies executing the projects, and in the presence of Eng. Ahmed El Assar – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, and Eng. Tarek Khedr – Board Member of the AC.
Dr. Assem El-Gazzar climbed to the 42nd floor of one of the coastal towers, which is currently the highest point in New Alamein City, to follow up on the implementation status of the projects, and he also toured the walkway overlooking the lake located in front of the coastal towers.
The Minister of Housing stressed the necessity that the companies working on projects adhere to the time schedule for implementation according to the highest quality. He directed companies to increase the number of workers in various locations to push implementation rates, withdraw work from lagging companies, and assign them to serious contractors to finish the work on time.
It is worth noting that the Arab Contractors Company is currently carrying out the finishing works for the towers project, which is located on plot LD08 and consists of 3 towers with a height of 162 meters. Each tower consists of a basement, ground floor, mezzanine and 38 typical floors. It connects the 3 towers with the podium building, which consists of 4 common floors.
