President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued Decree No. 140 of 2023 on reforming AC's Board of Directors, based on what Dr. Assem El Gazar – Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities has presented. The new board includes: Eng. Ahmed El Assar – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, Eng. Hossam El Din El Reefy – Senior Vice Chairman, Board Members: Dr. Mohamed Onsi El Beshouty, Eng. Ayman Attia, Eng. El Sayed Abdel Khalek Farg, Eng. Ahmed Abdulmajeed El Adalany, Eng. Heba Ahmed Abul Ella, Eng. Hassan Moustafa Kamel, Eng. Tarek Moustafa Khedr, Eng. Dina Mohamed Adel Fathi; members with expertise: Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud El Etreby, Mr. Nidal ElKassem Asar and Eng. Khaled Mahmoud Abbass.
Eng. Ahmed El Assar – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, expressed his thanks and appreciation to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for his precious confidence. He thanked Dr. Moustafa Madbouli – Prime Minister, and Dr. Assem El Gazar – Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, for their continuous support for the company.
Eng. Ahmed El Assar thanked and appreciated Eng. Sayed Farouk, the former Chairman, for the great effort he provided throughout his tenure in the company, especially during his chairmanship since 2020. He also thanked the previous Board of Directors for fulfilling their role in serving the company with dedication and wished the new members success in completing the company's progress.
Eng. El Assar added that the new board will work to continue the company's role in building the new republic launched by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, in addition to increasing its various projects in the Middle East and Africa and opening new markets.
Eng. Ahmed El Assar has served as the Senior Vice Chairman since 2020. During his career, he held various positions. He supervised many mega projects, such as: Rod El Farag Axis and Tahya Misr Bridge. He also chairs the Steering Committee of Julius Nyerere Hydropower Plant and Dam in Tanzania.
