Eng. Sayed Farouk – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, announced that the company has won the construction project of Aga Khan University in the Ugandan capital, Kampala, which includes of an academic building, consisting of a ground floor and 6 typical floors, and a residential building consisting of a ground floor and 8 floors. Recently, the Arab Contractors Company completed 3 road projects with a total length of 152 km; and a soft drink factory which was initially delivered.
This came during the visit of the Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company and Dr. Onsy El Beshouty - Board Member to inspect the company's projects in Uganda, including Saka Road and Bridge Project, which consists of a road passing through a dense swamp with a length of 4.5 km and a bridge crossing the Ambulugoma River.
They were accompanied by Eng. Mohamed Tolba - Managing Director of Arab Contractors Uganda Limited, and Eng. Salah Radwan - General Manager of the company.
The Chairman thanked all Egyptian and Ugandan workers for their hard work and the high quality of the projects. On the other hand, the Head of the Uganda National Roads Authority sent an appreciation letter to the Chairman due to the company’s completion of Tirini-Pallisa-Koomi Road (67 km), Pallisa-Kamankoli Road ( 44km) and Masaka-Boukakata Road (41 km). He praised the high quality and commitment to the implementation period, referring to the social and economic impact of these projects on Ugandan society.
It is worth noting that Arab Contractors Uganda Limited recently awarded the best visionary international building and housing construction company for the fifth year respectively due to the company's contributions towards achieving Uganda's aspirations and vision 2040.
