Eng. Sayed Farouk - CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company received Dr. Emmanuel John Enchimbe - Ambassador of the Republic of Tanzania and his accompanying delegation of young Tanzanian parliamentarians, on the sidelines of their presence in Egypt to participate in the 8th Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians will be hosted by Egypt in Sharm El Sheikh on June 15 – 16, and is being jointly organized by the House of Representatives and the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, and in the presence of high level regional and international personalities.
During the meeting, Eng. Sayed Farouk welcomed the Tanzanian brothers, expressing his happiness over their visit to their second country, Egypt, and stressing the great cooperation with the Tanzanian government, and the determination of the Egyptian JV of the Arab Contractors and Elsewedy Electric to accomplish Julius Nyerere Hydropower Plant and Dam in Tanzania with the highest quality and efficiency, given that this project is a dream for the Tanzanian people in providing clean and cheap energy.
On the other hand, the Tanzanian delegation praised the Egyptian-Tanzanian relations, which are witnessing a continuous development; the delegation also praised the ongoing projects and the great development in Egypt. They expressed their appreciation to the Egyptian JV and their great impact through the training of thousands of Tanzanian engineers, technicians and workers, which had a major role in transferring Egyptian expertise to the Tanzanian side, considering this project as the institute or university in which Tanzanians learn.
