The Embassy of Egypt in Abidjan arranged a visit for a delegation from the Arab Contractors Company headed by Eng. Ahmed El Assar - Senior Vice Chairman of the Company. The delegation met with Adama Diawara - Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Pierre Dimba -Minister of Health, Amadou Kone - Minister of Transport, Bruno Nabagne Kone - Minister of Construction, Housing and Reconstruction, and Yao Aristide - Director of the Infrastructure and Road Maintenance Minister’s Office. The Ambassador Dr. Wael Badawi - Egypt's Ambassador to Abidjan said that this visit comes to follow up on the results of the visit of Ivorian Minister of Housing Bruno Kon? to Egypt last February, during which he met with Dr. Assem El Gazzar - Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, during which he inspected a number of the most important projects implemented by the Arab Contractors Company. The Ambassador also added that the company’s delegation stressed during the meetings the Arab Contractors Company’s interest in the Ivorian market, and their aspiration to increase the volume of its activities in light of the opportunities available within the framework of the national development plan for C?te d’Ivoire 2021 - 2025. For their part, Ivorian officials welcomed the delegation and invited the company to participate in the implementation of a number of projects in different sectors, praising the projects previously implemented by the company, especially Jacque Ville Bridge which is linking one of the main areas for cocoa cultivation and the export port, and the expansion project of the Cargo Village Building at the Abidjan International Airport.
