Eng. Sayed Farouk – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company received a high-level delegation from the Federation of African and World Engineering Organizations, including Eng. Carlien Bou-Chedid, the First President of the Federation of African Engineering Organizations (FAEO), Eng. Moustafa Sheho - Executive Vice President of the World Federation and candidate from Africa for the presidency of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations, Dr. Charles Adam - Head of Ghana Syndicate of Engineers, and Eng. David Kawatia - Executive Director of Ghana Syndicate, where the delegation was keen to review the various collaborations with the Arab Contractors Company due to its prevalence on the continent as well as having new business opportunities. Besides, the delegation explored the training of African cadres, benefit from the company's experience in training, discussing all the fields that serve the profession and the review of engineering expertise on the African continent.
The meeting was attended by Eng. Mohamed Abdel Azim – Under Secretary of the Engineering Syndicate, Gen. Engineer Mohamed Nasser, Secretary General of the Syndicate, Dr. Ahmed Hasheesh - Assistant Secretary and Eng. Ahmed Hesham -Rapporteur of the Committee on International Relations and African Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Youssef and Eng. Ibrahim Mabrouk – AC Board Members an Eng. Amani Khodeir – Head of Africa Project Follow-Up Sector.
On the other side, the delegation of the FAEO visited Cairo Metro project and Adly Mansour Interchange Station that will become the convergence of the metro project and LRT destined for the New Administrative Capital; Suez Train Station, BRT, SuperJet and Al Asher transportation stop. The delegation visited the New Administrative Capital and saw the various construction works. They visited New Parliament Building, Egypt Cultural Islamic Center and praised the high quality of these structures which highlights the capabilities of the Egyptian companies and pays tribute to the workers of the Arab Contractors Company.
