Eng. Sayed Farouk – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company was on an inspection tour to follow up the work progress in New El-Alamein City. He was accompanied by Eng. Hossam El Din El Reefy – Board Member, Eng. Alaa Shalaby – Head of Alexandria Sector, Eng. Yasser Hamouda – Head of Sector and Project Managing Director and Eng. Yousry Abdel Razek – Manager of Alexandria Branch. The visit comes within the continuous follow up of the executive status of the projects which implemented by the company in New Alamein City. It includes the utilities projects and the beach towers project which consists of 3 towers. Each tower has a basement, a ground floor, mezzanine, first floor and 30 typical floors. The 3 towers are connected by the podium which consists of 4 floors. The Chairman and his companions visited Abu Talat Wastewater Project in Alexandria, which is considered a turning point for the area. Its components will alleviate the suffering of the people from the sanitary problems and accumulations of water in the streets of Abu Talat which is located between Kilo21 to SUMED Company’s wall. It includes a treatment plant with a capacity of 35,000 m3/day (1st phase), two main pumping stations, a sub-pumping station, and main and sub gravity networks with varied diameters (concrete pipes with a diameter from 700 mm to 1500 mm and UPVC pipes with a diameter from 250 mm to 630 mm). In addition to 2 drainage lines 800 mm and 1200 mm, two culverts beneath West El Nubaria Drain 2500 mm and 3200 mm and a double culvert (2500mm) under Alexandria-Marsa Matrouh Road. The Arab contractors Company is carrying out all the electromechanical works for the project components.
