Eng. Sayed Farouk – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company inspected the finishing works of Suez Canal Museum in Ismailia, this was in the presence of Eng. Mohamed Gharib Abo Elregal – Head of Works Department. They were received by Eng. Samir Saad Allah – Member of the Executive Board and Head of Canal and Sinai Sector who declared that the project includes construction work, restoration and rehabilitation of the first administrative building of Suez Canal which was built in 1869. It will be rehabilitated to be an international museum that narrates the history of the Suez Canal since its establishment till the inauguration of the New Suez Canal by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. The project includes Ferdinand de Lesseps’s rest house and a memorial wall that tells the history of the Suez Canal. The museum is built upon 10000m2, the building area is 5500 m2 and a basement 1200m2. The visit was attended by Eng. Mohamed Abdullah El Alwany – Project Manager, Eng. Bassant Adel – Project Coordinator from the Consulting Engineering Sector and Eng. Sherif Wahid – Manager of Electromechanical Works.
