Albert Shinjiro - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Burundi, held a meeting with Eng. Sayed Farouk - Chairman & CEO of the Arab Contractors Company, during the Burundian Minister’s visit to Egypt to attend Egypt - International Cooperation Forum Engaging for Impact, which was organized by the Ministry of International Cooperation, under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and the participation of Dr. Moustafa Madbouly – Prime Minister. The Minister of Foreign Affairs invites the Arab Contractors Company to enter the Burundian market due to the presence of many projects and opportunities available, and demanded the necessity of the company's presence there due to its good reputation within the African continent in terms of credibility and quality of work.
During the meeting, which was attended by Ambassador Sheikh Rashid Malachi Nirajera - Burundian Ambassador to Cairo, Eng. Sayed Farouk confirmed his welcome to the invitation of the Burundian Minister of Foreign Affairs, and emphasized on the determination of the Arab Contractors Company to explore the opportunities available to establish infrastructure projects in Burundi, pointing out that the company's policy in Africa is based on transferring experiences to brothers and building capacities through training, and implementing projects with standard specifications.
The visit of the Burundian Minister comes within the framework of the strong and close relations between Egypt and Burundi, which Shinjiro described as witnessing a launching phase. He invited the Egyptian companies to work and invest in his country, especially that Burundi has many investment opportunities.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Mohamed Youssef and Eng. Ibrahim Mabrouk – AC Board Members, Eng. Amany Khodeir - Head of Follow Up Department for Africa Projects, and members of the Burundian Embassy in Cairo.
