Eng. Sayed Farouk – President & CEO of the Arab Contractors Company and Eng. Ashraf Bahaa - Chairman and Managing Director of ENPPI signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU)between the two companies to cooperate in joint venture projects, developing cooperation, integration of available expertise and resources for mutual benefit in projects of mutual interest inside Egypt and abroad.
The signing of the MOU was witnessed by the Arab Contractors: Mr. Hossam Emam – Vice Chairman, Dr. Eng. Mohamed Youssef and Eng. Ibrahim Mabrouk – Board Members and Eng. Khaled Eissa – Member of the Executive Board, from ENPPI: Eng. Manal Khalifa – Assistant of the Chairman for Proposals, Contracts and Supervisor of the General Management for Business Development, Eng. Shahab Amin - Assistant of the Chairman for Engineering Affairs and Eng. Ashraf Abdullah - Assistant of the Chairman and Supervisor of the General Procurement Management.
Eng. Sayed Farouk thanked ENPPI for this important cooperation. He pointed out that the petroleum sector is considered one of the best sectors which operate according to the international standards, especially in safety and quality fields. He emphasized that the terms of this MOU should be activated by the officials of the two companies and declared that the MOU is aiming at the common interest. He pointed out that there should be a periodical meeting to follow up what has been agreed upon especially that there are business opportunities to cooperate and achieve mutual benefit through working in Africa.
Eng. Sayed Farouk pointed out that the Arab Contractors Company not far from the petroleum sector that we cooperate with Petrojet in number of projects.
Eng. Ashraf Bahaa expressed his happiness with this cooperation with the Arab Contractors Company which has a great history in the contracting world. It is the school that gave much to Egypt, he confirmed that the Arab contractors is the leader in training and contribute in the training of many engineers. Besides, it owned a training institute and has a wide spectrum experience in several fields. He explained that he is proud of ENPPI works in the petroleum sector abroad. He stated that ENPPI is contributing in several national projects inside Egypt as well.
