Eng. Emam Afify – Vice Chairman, Mr. Hossam Imam – Vice Chairman and Dr. Onsy Elbeshouty - Board Member visited Chad and met with the Chadian Infrastructure Minister. They explored the current projects and discussed its executive status. During the meeting, the Chadian Minister described the Arab Contractors Company as an effective partner in Chad and praised the high quality of the implemented project which carried out by the company.
On the other hand, a delegation from the company accompanied by Eng. Mohammed El Qiaay - Chad Branch Manager visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs project, that the implementation rate reached 96%. It is built upon 19000 m2 and the buildings’ total area is about 4000m2. The Project Manager pointed out that the project is consisting of 2 typical towers, each one of them has 7 floors and a ground floor. There is a crossover linking between the 2 towers from the fifth floor. The building has 4 meetings rooms accommodate 2000 seats.
The delegation inspected the project of Alexandria University’s Branch in N'Djamena. The First phase includes 2 faculties of Veterinary Medicine and Agriculture which built upon 4000m2.
Each faculty consists of a ground floor and 3 floors. Each faculty includes 10 laboratories, halls for studying the behavior and nature of animals and plants; a library, computers halls, 2 classrooms accommodates 150 persons, 4 lecturing hall accommodates 60 persons, offices, WCs, waiting rooms, rest rooms for the teaching staff. By the end of the visit, the company’s delegation held the general assembly meeting of the Chadian Company.
