Dr. Assem El Gazzar - Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities and Major General Ashraf Attia - Governor of Aswan inspected the Tourist River Strip Projects in New Aswan; this was in the presence of the officials of the ministry, governorate and New Urban Communities Authority.
The Housing Minister and Aswan Governor tour the projects on the river strip in New Aswan, the Minister stressed on adhering to the defined time schedule of the project to implement this important project which will be a distinguished landmark on the shore of the Nile River in Aswan.
They inspected the Nile Walk project with a length of 4500m. the implementation of its first phase is ongoing which includes shops, restaurants, marina, pedestrian walkway and seats overlooking the Nile, a Nubian village which includes shops, restaurant and coffee shops on the Nubian style, car parks, tunnel links the northern and southern parts of the garden, pedestrians bridge connect with the Open Theater and the tent area.
Dr. Assem El Gazzar and Major General Ashraf Attia inspected the Open Theater; its finishing works is completed. It is built upon 5.5 feddans and accommodates 3,000 spectators with a panoramic view of the Nile River and connected with the river garden through the pedestrians’ bridge.
The Housing Minister and Aswan Governor tour the villas which are under construction in the Tourist River Strip in New Aswan. There are 66 accomplished villas and 84 villas under construction.
