The lineup was selected based on the impact the CEO has had on the development and growth of the company. 16 Egyptian CEOs and business leaders have made the Forbes Top list. Eng. Sayed Farouk - President & CEO of the Arab Contractors Company is among Forbes Top CEOs in the Middle East 2021. Forbes has mentioned that Eng. Sayed Farouk was a Board Member from April to August 2013, supervising Arab Contractors branches in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, U.A.E., Oman, Yemen, Qatar, and Iraq. Then, he was the Senior Vice Chairman until being appointed the Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company by the presidential decree. AC is one of the leading construction companies in the Middle East and Africa with a base of customers, partners, and suppliers in more than 29 countries. Forbes stated that the Arab Contractors Company is currently heavily involved in projects in Egypt such as the New Administrative Capital, including the Islamic Cultural Center and Light Rail Transit “LRT”.
