Dr. Moustafa Madbouli – Prime Minister and Dr. Assem El Gazzar – Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities inspected the Parliament building in the New Administrative Capital. They were accompanied with the ministry’s officials, Major Gen. Shaaban Dahy – Assistant of the Head of the Engineering Authority for the Armed Forces and the Executive Director for the New Administrative Capital projects, they were received by Eng. Ahmed Abbass -AC Board Member and Eng. Tarek Safy – Project Manager.
The Prime Minister reviewed the implementation rate of the Parliament Building, which executed by the Arab Contractors Company and reach to 74% approx. He listened to an explanation about the implementation works indicating that the building is built upon 109 thousands m2. The building includes a huge dome with 55m diameter and a height of 65m. It consists of a main hall accommodates 1000 members, an auditoriums, a media center, an information center, a training center and offices for 3200 employees, 3 main suites. In addition to service buildings which includes a medical center, a fire fighting center, a garage and green areas.
Dr. Moustafa Madbouli stressed during the visit on the importance of speeding up the implementation rates and interest in the quality of finishing and the landscaping works.
It is noteworthy that the Prime Minister passed the self-sterilization corridor prepared by the Administrative Capital Authority, which was before starting his visit to the New Administrative Capital projects. The official in charge has measured the temperature of Dr. Moustafa Madbouli.
The Prime Minister reassured that all the contracting companies working in these projects are following the precautionary measures against the Novel Coronavirus, the workers wear masks and the availability of thermometers in all the work sites. He emphasized on his concern for the health and safety of the workers as a priority. It was confirmed by the Minister of Housing who is following the commitment to precautionary measures for the health of the workers in all the projects.
