Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab – Former Egyptian Prime Minister and the Honorary Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company witnessed the contract’s signing for the construction of the new campus for Business and Technology University in Jeddah, KSA worth 343 million SR.
The contract signed by Dr. Hisham M. Jamjoom – the Chairman of the University of Business and Technology, Eng. Mohsen Salah – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company; this was in presence of Dr. Abdullah S. Dahlan - Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Ambassador Hisham Moustafa - Consulate General of The Arab Republic of Egypt in Jeddah.
Eng. Mohsen Salah emphasized on the strength of the bilateral relation between Egypt and Saudi Arabia that the Arab Contractors exists in the Saudi market for more than 60 years ago and recently gained a renewal for the certificate of its branch’s classification in KSA for 4 years which enable the AC to submit for the giant projects inside Saudi Arabia especially that the AC ranked as 1st class company in the fields of roads, water, wastewater, electrical works and dams.
The contract signing was in the presence of number of the university’s officials, Eng. Sayed Farouk – Senior Vice Chairman of the AC, Eng. Soliman Younis – Manager of the Arab Contractors Branch of Saudi Arabia who declared that the project includes 4 faculties’ buildings (Engineering – Advertising – Business Administration – English Law), in addition to services buildings annexed to the campus (theater – library – mosque – bowling – gymnasium – residential building – electricity generation station) and the landscaping works.
he pointed out that the total area of the project is 125.000m2 approximately, its execution period is 3 years, all the buildings works are integrated including the earth works, concrete works, high quality finishing works for the internal spaces, facades from aluminum and glass according to the highest level and equipped with the state-of-the-art electromechanical systems such as: air conditioning, fire alarm system, surveillances, lighting works, computer systems…etc.
