Prime Minister – Moustafa Madbouli accompanied by Dr. Assem El Gazar – the Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities inspects number of New Aswan Projects, among them the River Strip Project. This was on the sideline of their participation in “Aswan Forum for Sustainable Peace and Development in Africa” which held in Aswan with the presence of President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi. They were accompanied by Eng. Khaled Abbass – the Deputy Minister, Eng. Abdel Motleb Mamdouh – Vice Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), Gen. Mohammed Essam – Supervisor of the Minister Office, Eng. Essam Abdel Aziz – Vice Chairman of the Development Sector and Urban Development, Eng. Emam Afify – Vice Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, Eng. Samir Saad Allah – Head of Sectors, Eng. Mohammed El Shehaby – Manager of South Valley Branch, Eng. Yasser El Bahnasy – Deputy Branch Manager and Supervisor of New Aswan Projects.
During the visit the Prime Minister listened to an explanation from the Minister of Housing about about the River Strip Project which is carried out on a total area reached 1050 feddans, investment estimated with 950 million EGP approximately and direct and indirect employment reached 750 technicians and engineers. The explanation includes the First implementation phase for the River Strip Project which is built upon 181 feddans. He declared that it is consisting of the villas area; the First village with 14 feddans; currently there 66 villas fully finished is under construction, each villas is 469m2. It consists of a ground floor, 2 higher floors, front garden, backward garden and surrounded with a fence. It is expected to be accomplished in June 2020. Villas area “Second village” with a total area 19 feddans consisting of 80 villas, 63 villas fully finished is under construction as Second Phase.
Dr. Madbouli inspected the tourist walkway which is under construction to serve the First and Second Phase of the River Strip with a length of 1500m. Besides, the Nile Park with a length of 6km with a direct fa?ade towards the Nile cornich. It consists of tourist bazars, shops, coffee shops, green areas, tourist, kids’ areas, pedestrians’ walkways, tourist berths, wooden pergolas, car parks to serve people of Aswan. In addition to the pedestrian crossovers which is ongoing to link between the Nile Park and the villas area; besides the hotel area with an area of 4.63 feddans and the entertainment trading complex on an area of 11.70 feddans.
