Dr. Moustafa Madbouli – the Prime Minister accompanied by the ministers of: antiquities, investment and international cooperation, trade and industry, and local development; El Menia Governor, Eng. Emam Afify – Vice Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company inspected the project of Akhenaten Museum in El Menia which built upon a total area 25 feddan and the total area for the buildings reached 11500m2 equal to 11% of the total area. The project is consisting of: the main building built upon 5000m2, a restoration school on 2600m2, bazars building, police station, cafeteria and a building for electromechanical equipment. Eng. Hossam El Nozhy – Head of Assiut and Upper Egypt Sector, Eng. Sayed Hasan – Manager of North Upper Egypt Branch which is carrying out the construction works of the museum, Eng. Ahmed Zaki – Manager of El Menia Projects and Eng. Emad Nakhla – the Project Manager declared that the main building of the museum is a pyramid shape with a height of 54m. The building includes the followings: 14 showing rooms with a varied space between 750m2 to 140m2, a theater, conference room with a capacity of 800 person and 5 industrial lakes with a total area 93500m2. The entrance resembles a huge edifice as the entrances of the temples with internal pillars hall.
