Dr. Moustafa Madbouli - the Prime Minister hold a meeting with the Tanzanian Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa who visited Egypt with a high level delegation to strengthen the bilateral cooperation relation between the two countries. This meeting attended by the Minister of Agriculture, the Minister of Housing, Egyptian Ambassador to Tanzania, Eng. Mohsen Salah – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company; from the Tanzanian side there was the Minister of Agriculture, officials from the Cabinet and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Tanzania Ambassador to Egypt. The Egyptian Prime Minister welcomed his counterpart Tanzanian Prime Minister and his accompanied delegation. He pointed out the distinguished historical relation between the two countries since the regime of Presidents Abdel Nasser and Julius Nyerere. The two countries are celebrating the 55th anniversary of establishing the diplomatic relations. The Prime Minister praised the recent momentum in Egyptian-Tanzanian relations. Dr. Madbouli said that he was honored by being present in Tanzania to attend the signing ceremony of the contract of Stiegler’s Gorge Dam. He stated that these visits reflects the Egyptian concern to boost the bilateral relations in all fields and aspiring to continue works depending on the results of these visits as a kind of strengthen the relation between the two countries and develop it in every fields to achieve the common interests for the Egyptian and Tanzania peoples. Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouli emphasized on Egypt support for the Tanzanian development efforts. He pointed out that the joint venture between the Arab Contractors Company and Elsewedy Electric Company whom awarded the designing and construction of Stiegler's Gorge Dam on Rufiji's River to generate the hydroelectric power. The implementation of the project will be according to the highest international standards and in accordance with the time schedule; especially in regard to the great concern toward the project from the Tanzanian government and people as the most important mega development project. He stressed that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is very interested on following the updates of the project frequently to assure the achievement of the highest levels of performance and execution. He stressed Egypt's keenness to continue and sustain its efforts to support and assist the Tanzanian brothers and to provide all forms of support in the field of enhancing the national capacity building by providing various training courses in different fields, especially the important role of the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development in this context through its varied programs and activities involving a huge number of the Tanzanian cadres from different sides. Dr. Madbouli welcomed the visit of the Tanzanian Prime Minister to the New Administrative Capital which is considered an opportunity to exchange experience with the Tanzanian side. From his part, the Tanzanian Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa thanked the warm welcome since his arrival to his second country Egypt. He praised the momentum status of the historical relation between the two countries and the mutual visits between the official of the two countries to promote the cooperation for better prospects in order to serve the common interests of the Egyptian the Tanzanian peoples. He praised the Egyptian JV who implemented the Tanzanian dam and perform their works with highest quality. He thanked the political leadership and the Egyptian government for following the implementation phases.
